Mrs. Gue has been working in the field of Early Education for 17 years. She received a Bachelor of Science degree in Early Childhood/Elementary Education from Frostburg State University. She started her career in 1994, teaching Kindergarten at a parochial school in Baltimore City. From 1995-2001, Mrs. Gue taught Kindergarten and coordinated the Girl’s lacrosse program at The School of the Cathedral of Mary Our Queen. In 2001, Mrs. Gue began her career with Baltimore County Public Schools, teaching Kindergarten at Cromwell Valley Elementary. In 2006, after giving birth to her second son, Mrs. Gue decided to work part time in order to spend more quality time with her family. During this time, Mrs. Gue was a Technology Integration Teacher then a Reading Resource Teacher. In 2010, Mrs. Gue returned to the classroom full-time at Pleasant Plains Elementary where she taught Prekindergarten for four years. Her experience has allowed her to work with diverse populations as well as gain experience working with English Language Learners. Rita is married and has two children. In her free time, Mrs. Gue enjoys spending time at the beach, gardening, decorating and organizing!
